When you sit and give a client time to talk you hear things. Sometimes we hear of their pain and hurt and sometimes we hear of memories of laughter, time spent with loved ones and of passions and hobbies that seem impossible for them now.
One client speaks of a passion for dancing, a passion that has seen them dance all over the country, including the world famous Blackpool Tower. They used to dance two to three times a week and something that they loved to do with friends and loved ones. However age has caught up with them and those who they danced with have unfortunately passed but the passion still lights them up.
So for one of our team to be able to help those memories, and feelings, come flooding back with a day out to watch Strictly Come Dancing was something that makes our job rewarding beyond words.
