Those who serve Queen and Country often do so with very little awareness of the impact it has on those who live within this country and the possible impact that it can have on their lives.
Their efforts, as controversial as conflict can be, helps to keep us all safe but it can often see many suffer with the after effects. Our director joined the British Army aged 17 years, 1 month and 5 days, just a child who wanted to do something to make his family and himself proud. He may have been lucky, due to injury, not to have seen some of the horrors many of his troop and squadron did but with age he has seen their struggles. Within this line of work he supports those who have scars from their time served and actively looks to employ those who can bring their experience, work ethic and understanding that only someone who has served can hold.
Today we get to thank those who have served and those who have lost loved ones to keep us safe, granted 2021 will see these celebrations reduced but for those who can show your support here is a list of where and for those that can’t we can still do so in our way.
From all of us here at Woodland Support we thank you
